We're hiring a Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instruction to students ages 18-22 in correctional and regional programs across Western MA.

About the Role

• Primary assignment: Teach small groups or 1:1 at Hampden County correctional facilities, focusing on Math and ELA.

• Secondary role: Support other programs in the Western Region as needed.

• Provide engaging, culturally responsive instruction that helps students reach their goals.

• Regional travel required; flexible hours available based on program needs.

Qualifications

Required:

• MA teaching license in Moderate Disabilities (5-12)

• SEI Endorsement

• Reliable transportation for regional travel

Preferred:

• Master's degree or experience with at-risk youth

• Strong classroom management and flexibility

• Experience with Google Classroom, Zoom, or blended learning
