Extended Day Program Coordinator (9 am - 2:30 pm)

The Extended Day Coordinator (Part-Time) is the leader of the Extended Day Program and is responsible for oversight of non-federal share (in-kind) program requirements.

This role works collaboratively across all departments to ensure targets for both programs are met and will ensure that Acelero Learning successfully increases Extended Day program profit margins.

Responsibilities are described in major areas listed below:
* Full responsibility for Acelero Learning's Extended Day Services Program enrollment.
* Extensive analysis of historical data and current recruitment conditions to develop detailed weekly and monthly projections for extended day.
* Develop and implement an extended day marketing strategy, including social media, soft networks, government relations, and community partners, with target of increasing size of extended day program.
* Insures that the recruitment materials are consistent in quality and messaging.
* Confirm that our strategies for recruitment reflect the communities we serve.
* Ensure that we are successfully reaching low-income parents who require full-day services.
* Monitor that we are consistently executing on our plans and meeting our goals for extended day enrollment.
* Work with service areas to continually assess and improve extended day operational procedures for attendance; billing communication, payment collection, and manually produce childcare subsidy certificates.
* Monitor extended day staffing, expenses, and revenue (regularly comparing bugets to actual spending) and use this information to make decisions that will ensure program sustainability and quality.
* Facilitate communication as necessary.
* Develop and maintain cohesive and collaborative partnerships with local community partners to support extended day services for children and families.
* Work directly with families to support them through the process of obtaining and maintain their Wisconsin Shares childcare authorization.
* Manage the development, planning and implementation of tracking in-kind and provide training and technical assistance to support staff in tracking and monitoring the work of the agency.
* Ensure the program meets non-federal share requirements by working closely with other departments to ensure targets are met, new opportunities for in-kind are found, and all required documentation is collected.
* Responsible for building and maintaining positive working relationships with team members, internal customers and external vendors.
* Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the successful execution of the program

Requirements:
* Bachelors degree required
* Strong knowledge of the Department of Health and Human Services Programs
* Successful enrollment program experience
* Minimum of three years of previous experience in management/administration preferred.
* Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
* Strong written and oral communication skills; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality; have demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Exceptional organizational skills required. Ability to meet designated deadlines is also a critical qualification.
* Ability to multi-task, work independently, efficiently organizes and communicates effectively.

Work hours: 9 am to 2:30 pm

Work Location: 310 Augusta Street, South Amboy, NJ

This position earns up to 18.41 Hourly
