What you will be doing

Albertson's Companies is looking for people who are interested in re-imagining the grocery experience by harnessing the power of digital technologies to optimize how we reach our customers.

As a Sr. Analyst on the Analytical Consulting team, you will be part of a fast-growing Analytics team and key Consultant to the national account Sales teams and advertisers at Albertsons Media Collective.

  • You will be responsible for creating and sharing data-driven insights and recommendations for campaign reporting to clients.
  • You will utilize your knowledge of analytics and statistics to draw insights and interpret complex data and tell a story from data in a way that is easy for business leaders to understand.
  • You will collaborate and work efficiently with cross-functional internal teams (I.e. media, audience insights, account management, and sales team) as an analytics SME to provide guidance around business rules for advanced measurement and measurement questions.
  • You will intake and complete ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders by dive deeply into data performing hands-on analysis, build reporting deliverables and provide recommendations that will have a meaningful impact to advertisers.
  • You will utilize your knowledge of SQL to both answer ad hoc marketing questions and ensure accuracy of the data you are providing.

The position can be based in Pleasanton CA, Minneapolis MN, Chicago IL, or remote as required.

What we are searching for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in data analysis and querying OR media and marketing analytics and measurement within an advertising agency or retail media network
  • Experience with presenting to clients campaign performance and measurement concepts
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Ability to work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders across multiple different teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A self-starter who can drive projects with limited guidance
  • Has strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with databases, data querying, and using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience using project management platforms like JIRA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience relaying communications between technical and non-technical teams
