Abrigo is looking for an experiencedVP of Financeto join the CFO team.This position will provide leadership and coordination of financial planning, business intelligence, treasury operations, and budget management.The ideal candidate will have software industry experience as well as previous responsibility in a high-growth environment.

We are a quickly growing, acquisitive, private equity owned software company. Join a CFO team with deep experience working with private equity-owned companies including M&A transactions, integration, and buy/sell-side diligence. This position will be based in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, or remotely.

What You'll Do:

  • FP&A, Stakeholder Reporting & Ad Hoc Business Projects
    • Direct and coordinate financial planning, i.e., strategic plan, annual operating plan, and five-year plan.
    • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and analyzing variances.
    • Produce timely reports that are succinct, accurate and relevant, which provide insight into business trends and potential action plans.
    • Manage the preparation of the monthly Board financial package.
    • Prepare quarterly Board presentation and debt compliance materials.
    • Treasury management including weekly cash forecasting.
    • Oversee FP&A department.
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics: increasing the use of data to drive decisions
    • Serve as a business partner to operating units for ROI analyses, pricing strategies, cost analyses, etc.
    • Define criteria, define data, and report insights to incite action.
    • Recommend & report benchmarks & KPIs for measuring financial & operating performance.
    • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making across Abrigo.
    • Select, implement, and adopt necessary BI tools & processes.
  • Corporate Development: post-merger integration
    • Work with Corporate Development team to integrate targets into Abrigo financial reporting processes including updated budgets, calculation of synergies, and top line/bottom line go-gets.
    • Track and report critical success factors, performance against investment models, and realized synergies.
  • Corporate Strategy: strategic planning
    • Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
    • Coordinate development and maintenance of a long-range strategic plan.
    • When appropriate, help prepare for financial exit including development of CIM, documentation of all key financial metrics, population of data room, preparation of ELT for roadshow/management meetings, and onboarding new ownership.
    • Be a trusted partner & go-to resource to understand what is happening in the business by providing advice & solutions to the ELT and BOD.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree & MBAstrongly preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles - M&A and post-merger integration experience a plus
  • 10+ years of leadership experience
  • Previous experience as a Finance leader at software company
  • Hands-on, enjoys "doing the work" as well as managing others. This individual must be able to operate on a very detailed level, but also able to operate strategically
  • Uses finance to proactively drive business decisions
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Experience with developing, leading, and mentoring others
