The Information Security organization is responsible for the implementation of an effective Technology and Security risk management framework that partners with various lines of defense and stakeholders in the organization . Compliance with laws and regulations is one of the key strategic imperatives of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

As the Cybersecurity Regulatory Senior Manager , you will apply in -depth understanding of laws, regulations, security and technology risks and their impact to our businesses. Excellent communication skills are required to advise and influence internally, at senior levels. You will be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert and drive collaboration across multiple teams.

As the Cybersecurity Regulatory Senior Manager , a key part of your role will be collaborating with other internal risk functions to support compliance evaluations of Capital's technology policy and controls infrastructure . You will collaborate with IT, Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, HR, Business areas, Global Risk Management, and Disaster Recovery to ensure consistent and high-quality information security and controls are designed and operating effectively. You will assess existing and emerging laws and regulations with an impact to security of information, technology, and business processes to establish that requirements are appropriately embedded within the technology and business teams .

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science or related field. A master's is preferred
  • You have 15+ years of compliance, privacy or related experience with technology risk and security management successfully identifying , assessing, and mitigating legal and compliance risks
  • You have a good understanding of how regulatory environments and global privacy regulations are changing and their impact on Financial Services Companies
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You have proven ability to balance risk mitigation proposals with business objectives and always do what is in the client's best interests
  • You are a technical expert and thought leader who has passion, curiosity, and exceptional communication skills
  • You have the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • You are passionate about digital learning, eCrime and you seek opportunities to evolve your knowledge of technical trends, risks and solutions through multiple sources of digital information
  • You are constantly building new cybersecurity knowledge and skills. Learning new cybersecurity and data analytical, M/L skills and are aware of evolving threats to enable your ability to protect information, business and cloud technology services


New York Base Salary Range: $195,333-$332,066

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
