The candidate must also be board-certified or eligible in cardiovascular medicine and have expertise complex coronary artery, peripheral vascular, or structural interventions. The successful candidate will be an outstanding clinician with desire to work in a rapidly growing academic cardiology unit. An active interest and experience in clinical, translational, or basic research is highly desirable. Applicants must hold MD (or equivalent degree), MD/PhD (or equivalent degree), or MD/MPH (or equivalent degree) degree(s) and be qualified for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or the Full Professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Interventional Cardiology program's growth and ensure that we provide world-class service to our patients in the Bay Area and beyond. Faculty recruit will perform duties as an attending physician in the cardiac catheterization lab, the cardiology inpatient and consult service, and will also have an ambulatory practice.
