MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Prior federal records management experience
  • Knowledge of the National Archive and Records Administration (NARA) and the Administrative Instruction (AI) 15
  • Experience in customer service and relations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • General office administration
  • Microsoft Office suite of tools competency, including TEAMS
  • Knowledgeable of SharePoint or other databases
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to create informational items such as newsletters, email notifications, SOPs, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of Capital Planning of Records Management for future electronic storage/scanning/retrieval capability

  • NARA certificate of records management training and/or specialized online courses
  • Motivated, committed, and loyal team player with a positive "can do" attitude

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) functional area within the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC)
  • Responsible for the conduct of all aspects of records management for the organization, to include directly supporting the Government records management official
  • Provide support in maintaining the organization's program for records management; ensuring every office has both hard copy and electronic file plans; proper file structures, storing, tracking, and managing TRMC records; ensuring proper life cycle of records to include maintenance and disposition of records, unscheduled records, and non-records; organizing records according to governing regulations to ensure compliance; assisting with file migration as required; and preparing for records management audits, among other duties as assigned
