The opportunity

As a Digital Media Specialist (SEO)you will serve as the team lead within the Audience Development Department responsible for overseeing the strategy, management and execution of all offpage SEO & media relations efforts, company branding and communications, and social media account strategies.

What you'll do



  • Build topic/industry focused media lists and identify quality, nich websites
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as the content and SEO team to understand offpage tracking & reporting needs
  • Leading the creation of industry-focused pitchable data projects
  • Using HARO's (Help a Reporter Out) to secure media placements and build relationships with journalists and topic/industyr focused contacts
  • Managing the application process for company awards and recognition
  • Compose and edit press releases, press kits, related company literature and articles for internal and external use
  • Track quality links across the TA portfolio of sites and provide insights and analyses to further grow our link profile
  • Use HARO as a tool to gain media exposure in TA's areas of expertise and manage the HARO process from start to finish
  • Assit the company in becoming recognized as a reputable industry resource through interviews, podcasts, external writing opportunities, etc.
  • Consistanlty build media relationships across various business and industry publications
  • Stay up to date on trends, the media landscape, and implement in the day to day



Who you are



  • 2 years of offpage SEO and/or PR experience
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
  • Experience with PR and email outreach
  • Strong writer with demonstrable press coverage in various media outlets
  • Enjoy working in a cross-collaborative environment and learning about how SEO & PR work together
  • Interested in the ever-changing news cycle and are always brainstorming how our topics can tie into the cycle
  • Clear written and verbal communicator
  • Passionate about growing in a role

Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.

Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Annual pay range
$70,000 $90,000 USD
