Job Summary:

The Product Compliance Analyst II is primarily responsible for filing group and individual supplemental health, disability, and life products for Allstate Health and Benefits. The Product Compliance Analyst II will be responsible for the development and drafting of new products, product revisions, and compliance items, and serves as subject matter expert on state and federal insurance product regulations and state filing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop contract language for new products, product revisions, and compliance items
  • Research state and federal insurance laws to ensure compliance with product regulations and state filing requirements
  • Prepare, review, and submit form and rate filings to state departments of insurance (DOIs)
  • Respond to objections and questions from DOIs related to the filing submission in order to bring outstanding filings to a resolution in a timely manner
  • Communicate updates on status of ongoing filings and deliver newly-approved forms to business areas for implementation.
  • Partner with multiple internal business units to accurately implement the newly-approved forms

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in health and life insurance industry or a legal background preferred.
  • Prior product filing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance-related websites preferred.

  • None

Compensation offered for this role is$61,500.00-$71,000.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
