We are looking to hire Front End Developer, ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a team environment, should possess a strong and well-rounded technical acumen. Candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining enhancements to our WordPress multisite environment with performing frontend updates, implementing enhancements to backend PHP scripts, widgets and plugins.

Main Responsibilities:

Build and update websites using WordPress multisite environment with Elementor visual designer
Build and update website templates, widgets and plugins based on business requirements
Perform website performance assessments and implement updates to improve website performance
Perform accessibility tests and implement website update to improve website accessibility
Ensure search engine optimization features are maintained or improved
Ensure page speed optimization is maintained or improved when implementing accessibility updates
Communicate with the User Experience and Web Design teams for brand style issues
Manage project task lists, document progress and report milestones
Maintain technical feasibility of UI/UX designs for responsive page development
Troubleshoot errors by reviewing logs and browser consoles
Document code and feature updates as needed for developers
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
3+ years front end development experience with focus on WCAG accessibility standards
3+ years WordPress development experience
Expertise with AXE Accessibility web extension
Proficient understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JS and jQuery
Knowledge of PHP and MySQL
WordPress visual designer experience is required, Elementor is a plus
Understanding of custom post type development and implementation via visual designers
Experience with CMS parent and child theme development
Experience with GIT version control tools and local development
Experience with schema markup and code optimization for search rankings
Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
Effective documentation and communication skills
