About the Role:We are looking for a summer intern to join us on an 8-12-week assignment where they will work on a major redesign project for our website, and provide development support for some of our smaller websites. We believe this will provide a fantastic opportunity for a developing Computer Science student to gain real insight to both large and small-scale website development. What We Provide:
Have the opportunity to work side-by-side with our Web Development team to support the redesign of the Janelia.org website and other projects. Flex any existing skills working with technologies such as PHP/Drupal, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while continuing to expand your knowledge and understanding. We will teach you that website development requires more than just technical know-how - it includes important skills like collaboration between multiple business departments, design firms, and other members of IT to successfully implement projects. Compensation Range: Intern, Web Development - $25.00 (minimum) - $30.00 (midpoint) - $35.00 (maximum)
Pay Type: Hourly HHMI's salary structure is developed based on relevant job market data. HHMI considers a candidate's education, previous experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity when making job offers. Typically, a new hire for this position in this location is compensated between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range.
