About this Position:

This position leads all analysis and planning activities related to ordering of product for sales to OEM and wholesale customers, in addition to all export production requirements for PE - CBU (Generator, Water Pump, Tiller, Trimmer, Snowblower and Export products). The PE Seihan Planner will work closely with factory operations to ensure orders will maintain a consistent production capacity and support sales forecast by MTOC, this position will direct orders to most efficient warehouse while tracking factory PO's from production to final warehouse delivery.

Responsibilities include:



  • Monthly production planning/inventory review and communications to Sr. Management.
  • Monthly alignment of product ordering to match factory plan (Seihan Coordination).
  • Alignment of quarterly forecast changes with factory production scheduling.
  • Monthly production order from each factory to warehouses.
  • Management of warehouse transfer budget.


Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:




  • 5 years' in a logistics, sales, planning or distribution environment.
  • High level skill in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Experiencing utilizing and analyzing big data.



Required Education:



  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or Mathematics.


Desired skills:



  • Excellent communication skills with presentation experience.
  • Ability to present situations and theory to all levels of audience using Microsoft office products.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is required and the ability to work independently.


Additional Position Factors:



  • Workstyle: On-site
  • Travel: 5%
  • This position is a salary position, majority of time in an office cubical environment. First two weeks of each month will have higher workloads which will expect hours beyond 40 per week. This position may travel a maximum of 1 or 2 times per year, to visit potential Honda marketing events, customer visits or internal training events.
