General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Business Services Specialist is a key member of the Transaction Team. The role is key to the sales and marketing support function in that the individual is expected to provide superior service to our customers, our suppliers, and identified members of the Nutrition Marketing team. That service level will provide a full level of support to the marketing team and ultimately our customers and suppliers.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:



  • 1-2 years of industry and sales support experience
  • Strong background in all facets of order management and/or transactional processing
  • Experience with a Tier 1 ERP, JDE experience preferred

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:



  • Creates contracts, orders, and Freight & Logistics records for all Sales and Purchases
  • Invoices per the Key Performance Indicator appropriate to the book of business assigned
  • Prepares monthly settlements for suppliers as per a specific outlined schedule
  • Processes & prepares payables for accounting
  • Keeps the book of business updated monthly, including working with A/P team for any outstanding payables
  • Create and maintain work instructions for invoicing, including excel based calculators
  • Training co-workers for cross coverage
  • Help to cover a team member's book of business when a team member is absent or needs additional assistance during the busy season


Compensation and Benefits:



  • In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $20.58 - $26.09 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
