Job Description Join a diverse team that supports the mission of the US Navy! Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) Quality Engineering and Assessment (QE&A) provides direct support for the Quality Assurance Program through development and maintenance of quality processes and requirements, consultation with other NRF departments and external organizations, and independent review and assessment of quality processes. Assist with internal and external audits to validate compliance with various requirements. The selected candidate will be expected to develop a general knowledge of all applicable quality requirements and will be expected to routinely interact with management and employees throughout NRF to clarify existing policies, procedures, requirements, and program standards. You will also be required to work independently under an assigned mentor. Minimal travel may be required. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering or science-related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of relevant experience or; Master's degree in a degree in a technical, engineering or science-related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years of relevant experience Preferred Skills > 3.2 GPA, Engineering Degree Quality Engineering Experience All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
