Job Summary:

Responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. Ensure that online user experience is optimized for improved usability , usefulness and visual design.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements for our suits of digital assets
  • Creates visual interfaces for digital assets and enhancements to existing ones, with a focus on optimizing user experience and intuitive navigation.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Develop original graphic designs, banners, landing pages.
  • Conveys branding cohesively across multiple web properties and meets established design standards.
  • Uses web design best practices and next-generation digital trends while maintaining a user centered design focus.
  • Collaborates with different teams to coordinate the development, integration and release of web content.
  • Creates and maintains site documentation and training materials to support regional sites.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline. Competent in all job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards.
  • Develops solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance; determines best course of action to achieve results.
  • Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. May receive some limited guidance for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.
  • Collaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization. May represent department internally or externally.
  • Actions may impact the success of the overall department and/or the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions may result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy.

Work Experience:

  • Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
  • Experience in Online and Digital Product Design, User Interface Design or User Experience
  • Working knowledge of the following(or similar) technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS).
  • Experience in working with UI Framework like Bootstrap

Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
