Org, Team, and Overall Work Scope
Reporting to the VP, IT Governance and Platform Operations
, you will work closely with QA Manager, Development Managers, Platform Engineering, IT Ops, Product Owners and PMO and will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments in an agile environment.
The RM will be a
core part of the IT Governance team
that works collaboratively across Technology, Compliance, and Audit teams to ship quality products and ensure high customer and subscriber satisfaction. The environment is fast-paced, fluid, and requires high adaptability and assertiveness to be successful.
You will oversee the building of Release Calendar with the Product teams, working closely with the key stakeholders and creating a centralized view of all releases.
You will lead the efforts to refine the release management process with key stakeholders and ensure the process requirements of release managements are built in the deployment process.
Whereas release managers in the past focused more on the planning, building, and testing stages, many today focus more on operations and compliance. The role is also vital for ensuring a positive culture and experience for IT team members - so everyone can count on a predictable release schedule and celebrate successful deployments.
At a high level, here are some of the core areas you are responsible for as a release manager:
Building an automated deployment pipeline and associated processes
Defining quality gates and thresholds
Monitoring customer feedback
Tracking results of test automation suites
Collaborating cross-functionally -This last point is worth reiterating. As a release manager, you should be
communicating frequently not only with developers and QA, but also members of operations, product management, customer support, marketing, and sales. Collaborating closely with these teams helps you ensure that what you are delivering meets the expectations of customers and the business.
Essential Functions
The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $145000; the offered salary will be based on location and candidate's relevant experience .

Work Environment & Physical Demands
AIP is a remote-first company, however our
US based roles are open to in-office or flex work if you live in a city with a physical office location. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your
US based home office. We primarily collaborate with our US colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will have to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery, as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
