The School of Natural Sciences anticipates hiring full and part-time lecturer positions to teach the following subjects in AY 2023-2024: Introduction to Earth Systems Science In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor will be evaluating student work and exams, calculating and posting grades, and holding regular posted office hours each week. This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and appropriate collective bargaining agreement. See Table 15for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $64,329-$181,015 per year. Appointments for AY 2023/2024 and/or Fall 2023 semester are reviewed in April, and for Spring 2024 semester are reviewed in October.
