What You'll Do

    Responsible for providing analytics support to the Senior Technical Consulting team and various client Employee Benefits teams.
  • Review and spread client renewal proposals and plan options in spreadsheets, illustrating both benefits and rates for all lines of coverage. Select plan options that most closely align with specifications provided by client teams. Help in preparing accompanying renewal exhibits for client-ready renewal proposal.
  • Market fully insured and self-funded (as needed) plans to insurance companies by utilizing a Request for Proposal (RFP) process and preparing the marketing results.
  • Learn insurance company products; develop relationships with carrier representatives; attend carrier new product launches and industry meetings.
  • Review and understand underwriting guidelines and discuss with client team when necessary.
  • Assist with various analytics activities such as period claims reporting, contribution analysis, and any other underwriting projects.
  • Update benefits management system with final plan selections and rates.
  • Maintain client files in compliance with company standards.
  • Provide backup employee advocacy services as needed.

You Should Have:

  • BA/BS in business, Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 2 years of similar or related experience in Employee Benefits Insurance
  • Advanced Experience in Excel
  • Experience with MS Office products preferred/required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Attain and maintain life and disability insurance license within 60 days of hire.
