JOB TITLE: Senior Commercial FP&A Business Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the senior finance partners of several medium to large sized businesses within the commercial organization. This involves helping lead planning process, development of key management reporting/dashboards, thought leadership on analytics/reporting architecture, project management, and providing general finance business partner support. This role will also provide direct support to the Commercial FP&A director relating to the global operating expense planning/forecasting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Analyze, identify, and communicate trends and issues impacting the business on an ongoing basis; make recommendations on system design, reporting, and analytics.
  • Analyze financial data, models, and reports. Transle data in to meaningful and concise communications.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and finance management to develop actionable operational/financial dashboards to evaluate the business against strategic goals and short-term targets.
  • Lead periodic forecasts, annual plans and strategic planning processes by working cross-functionally and cross-geographically.
  • Support business cases and associated financial models independently or in partnership with other business partners.
  • Develops and analyzes complex business scenarios/models ranging across all business disciplines (commercial, factory operations, product development, information systems, etc.).
  • Analyze, summarize and communication monthly/quarterly operating expense performance/forecasting projections.
  • Develop short and long term commercial operating expense projections (Annual Plan and Long Range Plan)
  • Work with IT/Financial Systems teams to develop, maintain or enhance financial systems, tools and reporting.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the overall business and of the business fundamentals of any supported functions.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.



Experience



  • Minimum 6 years' experience in an FP&A role or financial analysis/management.
  • Experience in financial forecasting and planning including managing the forecast or planning process, working cross-functionally resolving forecast/budget issues, driving a forecast/plan process to closure, analysis of forecast/plan results, and effective communication of completed forecast/plan results.
  • Previous experience performing financial accounting duties helpful.
  • Experience in developing and communicating financial analytics, KPI's and commentary to management
  • Evaluating processes and developing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Experience leading and managing small to medium sized projects.
  • Proven experience to work in cross functional teams.


Skills



  • Experience working with business analytics and data visualization tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (ability to manage large data sets and knowledge of advanced formulas).
  • Expert analytical, spreadsheet, data modeling and data visualization skills; proven ability to develop complex financial models.
  • Demonstrated ability to write professional executive reports, commentary and develop PowerPoint decks appropriate for all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex financial information and deliver conclusions and recommendations based on financial analysis in an easy to understand and concise fashion.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask, work in an independent manner and seek assistance as needed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in both an in-person and remote environment.
  • Effective process leadership skills.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Degrees or Accounting/Finance Certifications such as an MBA, CPA, CMA, etc. is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:$100,200.00to$125,300.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:7.0%
