Position Summary:
The Martin Tuchman School of Management (MTSM) seeks Adjuncts to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in Management Information Systems (MIS). Adjunct instructors will be given the learning objectives and requirements for each class assigned. MTSM offers an Undergraduate degree in Business with Concentrations in Accounting Systems, Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Management Information Systems and an undergraduate degree in Financial Technology (FinTech). MTSM also offers graduate degrees including a Master in Business Administration, Master of Science in Management, and a Ph.D. in Business Data Science.

Essential Functions:
Successful candidates will be expected to develop and deliver lectures; prepare and grade assignments; Learn and use the learning management system - Canvas. Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class (i.e. office hours) as needed; Verify presence and submit grades to the Registrar at the end of the semester.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience; Master's degree from an accredited institution in the area applicable to teaching area. Currently employed with duties related to the teaching subject area. Professional experience substantial in duration and level of responsibility; Sustained academic or business related or professional engagement activities within the last 5 years. For those who have taught any college-level course before you must submit teaching evaluations; all candidates at least two reference letters are required. The letters should focus on teaching/presentation skills, domain knowledge and willingness to help others (students); and all candidates must include a personal statement.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited institution in the area applicable to teaching area; Professional engagement activities which involve application of specialized knowledge.
