JOB SUMMARY: This position will manage Operational Readiness activities for WCG technology platform system enhancements and new service offerings and lead Continuous Process Improvement initiatives that align with the organization's operational goals.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in operations such as Business Management or Project Management or related field.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lean Six Sigma training is preferred
  • Project Management professional qualification is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in continuous improvement, process management, or equivalent, preferably in clinical research setting with evidence of increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of process improvement techniques and applying these to make organizational changes.
  • Ability to learn and use internal technology tracking systems such as Jira and Aha!
  • Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Visio is preferred. Experience with Monday.com or other business process software is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required such as a focus on problem solving and listening objectively and openly to others' ideas. Must be comfortable working cross functionality and interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work with and process information in a concise, detailed, and logical method.
  • Ability to work with close attention to detail and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Manage Operational Readiness activities to ensure the Business is prepared to successfully deliver WCG platform system enhancements and new service offerings
  • Independently develop and manage execution of operational readiness rollout plans for successful delivery of WCG platform enhancements and new service offerings.
  • Work with business owners and department subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop/update business process workflows impacted by system enhancements and new service offerings.
  • Collaborate with Training Lead and business partners to understand impact and training needs associated with current business learning platforms, future platforms, and new service offerings.
  • Provide regular status updates to Director, Business Process Management.
  • Identify and appropriately escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead Continuous Process Improvement projects as prioritized by the Director, Business Process Management
  • Lead root cause problem-solving analysis to implement improvements to processes supporting business objectives
  • Research, analyze and interpret details to support workplace solutions in support of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic implementation practices to ensure change adoption in collaboration with functional partners.
  • Maintain working knowledge of operational processes and changes.
  • Communicate clear and professional feedback/information on continuous improvement efforts and actions to all departments in the company where appropriate.
  • Maintain and promote positive working relationships with the inter-functional departments by providing timely and professional service to their needs within the scope of the company mission.
  • Oversee operational improvements and ensure changes are implemented as agreed upon by stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Support and motivate cross functional teams to accomplish objectives with a sense of partnership and urgency.

Expected annual salary range: $69,400 - $97,000
