The Pinecrest Lumber Division has manufactured quality lumber since 1973.? Our employees take pride in safely producing quality lumber for our customers.

This is a highly skilled hourly position performing safety conscious metal fabricating, to build high-quality metal componets for our mill.

Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.

Constructing templates if necessary.

Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.

Fabricating and constructing metal components.

Grinding, finishing, and sometimes painting completed products.

Performing quality checks on completed products.

Conforming with stae and company safety requlations.

Assisting millwrights when needed in all areas of the mill.

Maintain a safe, clean and clutter free work area.

Previous work experience as a metal fabricator.

Certification and advanced welding experience a plus.

Knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures.

Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints as well as draw fabrication plans.

Good mathematical skills.

Ability to rig, lift and manipulate large metal objects.

Ablity to stand for prolong periods.

Work with machinists, millwrights and production personnel.

Accurately complete work orders with correct documentation.

Ability to weld in all positions and in confined or elevated areas.

Able to use various measuring tools and fabrication tools.

Proficient at cutting torch, plasma cutter and arc gouging.
