Valley Packaging is seeking career minded general utility to safely and efficiently set-up. run and clean up the stacker, conveyors and other equipment. Also, to be an additional team player on machine.

Follow all safety, quality and production procedures.
1. Teamwork effort and involvement in order to meet production goals.
2. Reads MacOps program and machine schedule to review customer specifications and any special requirements
3. Verifies ( measures) incoming-materials to verify correct size sheets
4. Properly identify correct stacking patterns, print load tags and ensure correct use of bottom sheets and tie sheet per MacOps and customer specifications.
5. Identify and non-conformance material and report to machine operator. (warp, etc.)
6. Communicate any machine problems to the operator and supervisor
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment through a "clean as you go" attitude.
8. Ensure line clearance functions have been performed before starting up of next order
9. Performs box inspection through-out the run for box quality and report any changes to the operator
10. Complete accurate records and verify sheet count, dunnage and unit appearance on all orders
11. Monitor PH and viscosity of ink through-out the run of an order and report any changes to the operator
12. Is involved with any and all aspects of the set-up once all task are performed.
13. Monitor and organize the bottom sheet area at the respected machine.
14. Perform other duries as assigned by the supervisor.

High School diploma or GED

No experience preferred
