Position: Strategy Intern
Department: Annuity Marketing
Reporting to: Strategy Director
Overview:
Are you looking to build and diversify your skillset and work with a fast-paced team? We are looking for a motivated individual for our Strategy Intern opening. The Strategy Intern will work with members of our Strategy team on new initiatives to increase sales and profitability for Advisors Excel. This in-house, ongoing internship will assist with a multitude of projects, but primarily focus on events, marketing, and sales efforts for the Annuity Marketing division.
What you'll do:
- Assist with preparations, details, and logistics for event promotional campaigns
- Maintain recruiting data tracking
- Attend bi-weekly recruiting meetings
- Assist with recruiting programs
- Maintain marketing materials and content to support the recruiting team
- Assist with data tracking and metrics for the sales team's performance
- Participate in bi-weekly recruiter call trainings
- Shadow and assist veteran recruiters with call scripting, list building, CRM data cleanup, etc.
- Assist Strategy & Events team with scheduling and promotional mailers
- Assist Affiliate Manager with vendor reporting and data collection
- Assist corporate marketing team on planning and executing corporate campaigns
- Event closet management and inventory
- Event set-up
- Event material coordination
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience you'll bring:
- High School Diploma
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff
- Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional problem determination skills with a high attention to detail
