In addition to EDA tools and IP, we provide different types of design services. Our Solutions teams enable our customers with end-to-end SoC designs in advanced technologies. Deliver tool flows. Provide expertise in design methodology creation and implementation. Create design flows and methodologies. Provide customer specific design assistance. Support RTL-to-GDSII implementation for blocks, sub-systems, and full SoCs. Execute full turnkey SoC designs from specification-to-parts. Our customers range from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, commercial and government agencies. As a Senior SOC Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams of world class engineers developing cutting edge ASIC and FPGA solutions for a variety of applications and markets. You will apply your management skills towards team building, technical leadership, project management, and people management. Your role will involve technical engagement and business development with a wide range of customers ranging from industry heavy hitters to start-up entrepreneurs. Your contributions to corporate level strategy and initiatives will be an integral element behind the success of Synopsys Design Services.
Responsibilities:
- Knowing industry standard ASIC/FPGA design flows, technologies, tools, and methods.
- Developing technical, cost and schedule proposals.
- Applying project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Managing supply, demand, and placement of highly skilled engineering resources.
- Developing teams across multiple projects and geographical locations.
- Engineering talent selection, skill assessment and recruiting.
- People leadership including delivering appraisals, managing performance, career development, and mentoring of employees.
- Networking, building relationships, and driving effective decision-making across multiple functions, customers, and levels within the organization.
- Contribute to company strategic direction and initiatives.
- Technical involvement on sales and business development customer engagements.
- Help execute corporate contracts, agreements, and NDAs Highly organized, able to prioritize, and juggle multiple projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 15+ years of ASIC/FPGA development with at least 10 years leading projects requiring multiple resources and skillsets.
- Experience in technical leadership and project management.
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $133,000 to $232,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
