Summary/Objective

The Associate Product Manager's primary responsibility is to monitor, analyze and optimize data for a number of core products at Identity Digital with a focus on "Domain Engine". "Domain Engine" is a name suggestion API which handles millions of queries a month and is designed to target prospective domain purchases with the most relevant domain name at the point of purchase.

The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple cross-functional departments and external clients. This individual will provide unique business insight into large data sets and output actionable improvements to improve overall product yield.

What You'll Do




  • Monitor account-level CPM performance for search and bidding tools, taking appropriate action based on business insights.



  • Work closely with the internal account management teams to provide real-time data on account performance and suggested tuning.



  • Cultivate and demonstrate an interest and awareness of industry trends and best practices for the development of online applications.



  • Work in conjunction with the finance department to provide insight on appropriate pricing and product presentation for best-in-class merchandising of products.



  • Liaise with the engineering department to suggest tooling & product improvements to assist the company's long-term growth.



  • Design action and iterate on A: B test to ensure the best possible performance while navigating potential internal confirmation bias.



  • Recognize opportunities for further product improvements using modern data science techniques such as Machine Learning, NLP, or Artificial Intelligence.



  • Proactively communicates with stakeholders about production recommendations, risks, challenges, and solutions. Actively owns and is accountable for the partner relationship.



  • Presents project plans and findings utilizing data to internal stakeholders successfully as needed.



  • Other duties as assigned.





Who You Are / What You Bring




  • Bachelor's degree in data science, product management or equivalent discipline is desired.



  • 2+ years experience in an analyst or product management role.



  • Deep understanding of databases, SQL & other common web technologies.



  • Experience working closely with engineering groups to coordinate the delivery of initiatives.



  • Experience with common machine learning techniques such as NLP or AI language models.



  • Ability to manipulate "big-data" to understand user behavior and design product solutions accordingly.




    • For example, SQL / Python, etc.





  • Ability to work with visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot.



  • Experience working with financial models is a plus.



  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.



  • Ability to execute on long-term initiatives, while working either independently or as part of a wider team.



  • Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization.



  • Ability to travel as needed.





Salary Range

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $110,000, plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and a long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.

US Employees (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance. Employees are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, employees are able to enroll in the company's matching 401(k) retirement plan. Employees will also annually receive 20 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 8 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also have the opportunity to receive tuition reimbursement for qualifying tuition and education-related expenses.
