Lewis Roca is a top-ranked Am Law 200 commercial law firm and one of the largest in the Western United States. We are seeking an HR Document Control Specialist to join our team!

Summary:

The HR Document Control Specialist will provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department. Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for scanning and filing confidential documents, creating and organizing electronic files, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

This position is ideal for someone who is extremely detail-oriented, computer savvy, and enjoys managing a large volume of files and information. The successful candidate should be familiar with using scanners and printers and have experience with MS Outlook, Excel, and Adobe PDF.

In-office attendance is required 5 days per week during the training period. After that, a hybrid work schedule will be available.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Scan, organize, and electronically file confidential HR, benefits, and payroll documents daily
  • Audit documents and files for accurate record-keeping
  • Perform accurate data entry into the document management system
  • Maintain I-9, AAP, EEO, and other compliance filing and record retention
  • Provide other administrative support to the department as needed


Education and Experience:


  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1-2 years of clerical/administrative experience is strongly preferred
  • A high level of confidentiality and integrity are critical for this role due to the highly sensitive nature of the records in our department
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
  • Must have excellent grammar and proofreading skills
  • Strong overall computer skills are required, including highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with iManage / FileSite / WorkSite or other document management systems is preferred. A strong systems mindset would be extremely beneficial to a candidate for this role.

Pay: $20.00/hourly
