Job Summary

Teach courses in disciplines such as marketing, finance, and accounting, depending on the candidate's background and department needs. Unless specifically indicated, classes are to be taught in the classroom on our Arden Hills, Minnesota campus.



Responsibilities

Prepare course materials within the framework provided by the department, conduct and oversee all class activities, administer assessments, provide feedback to students, and submit final course grades to the University Registrar. The successful candidate will contribute to an academic environment that actively seeks to increase inclusive excellence in the department and in the discipline.



Skills

Ability to present learning material clearly; strong organizational skills; potential for structuring courses in ways that clarify students' expectations and facilitate comprehension and engagement; strength in written and oral communication; and demonstrated reliability, which is necessary for providing timely and useful feedback on student work and being responsive to students outside of class time.



Experience

A record of successful college teaching preferred.



Education

At least 18 credits toward a Master's degree required; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
