Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a IT Support Specialist.

In this role, the successful candidatewill be responsible for providing organizational support for MCIT Clinical Affairs, which includes the management and logistics for Sourcing, CM, and Reporting. In conjunction with MCIT leadership develops and implements process improvement goals related to management of the department and compliance to MCIT policies.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
    • Ensure ALL emergent expedites are properly handled. This includes working closely with the MCIT Business Office ensuring the timely processing, execution of the communication.
    • Monitor intake queues in the MCIT Work Center to properly track intakes and assist managers with their business-related workload.
    • Ensure all Office of Clinical Affairs sponsored individual contracts and system access privileges are up-to-date.
    • Will assist assigned managers in compiling documentation required for new and renewal intakes, thus ensuring timely processing.
    • Researches root cause and may reach out to vendors to resolve data issues.
    • Uses Project Management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet expectations.
    • Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; escalating function, quality and timeline issues appropriately.
    • Will be the point of contact for Business Office and the assigned Mission Department related tasks (i.e. maintain up to date payroll lists, open positions, facilities related tasks, MCIT training program, Procurement related paperwork).
    • Assists with the monthly preparation of operating and capital expenditures presentations and budget projections for assigned areas to include the Office of Clinical Affairs.
    • Compiles financial information for all components of the IT organization. This includes but not limited to participating in quarterly benchmarking preparation and all IT related benchmarking exercises.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and or 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This must include experience with overseeing office activities, administering budgets. The successful candidate must also possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is essential. Ability to multi-task and/or coordinate multiple assignments are required. Ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures, and effectively communicate detailed information to a diverse population, both verbally and in writing; excellent problem-solving skills is required.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,500.00 - $64,701.55 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
