60% FTE (24 hours per week), evening/night hours with a combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts. Weekend and holiday rotation required. You will work at University Hospital located in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:



  • Be part of a dynamic collaborative team, providing complicated wound care on burn and wound patients.
  • Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and collaborate in the development, execution and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care.
  • Be part of a newly built and expanded Burn Center caring for adults and pediatrics with burns and wounds.
  • Be part of our ACS-Verified Burn Center as well as Level One Trauma Center for both pediatric and adult patients.

Education:

Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.

Preferred - Relevant RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact. CPR certification. ACLS and PALS obtained within six (6) months of hire.
