VP Medical Communication Accounts-Business Development

Amplity has a current opportunity for a Business Development Vice President in our US MedComms Solutions Division.

As a Business Development Vice President, you will be part of a collaborative team of sales professionals working together to grow Amplity's portfolio of solutions, each designed to ensure patients gain access to and benefit from the best medicines for the right reasons. In this role, you will have the opportunity to own and develop the MedComms Solutions business development pipeline to win new business opportunities for Amplity.

The Business Development Vice President will identify and cultivate new accounts on behalf of the MedComms Solutions business of Amplity Health. As part of your role, you will identify and secure new business opportunities within current client accounts and work to identify and develop new clients, creating exciting and innovative proposals based on client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a quality pipeline of MedComms Solutions opportunities in a complex sales environment.
  • Secure qualified client meetings through established networks, relationships, and a value-added, consultative approach.
  • Partner with Sales operations to develop sales presentations and responses to proposals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Amplity's core capabilities.
  • Lead selling strategy meetings with the business.
  • Collaborate with Amplity MedComms Solutions leaders, members of the Account Management team, and company subject matter experts.
  • Deliver sales messages aligned to Amplity's product offerings.
  • Systematically track your KPI's to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements/Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Residence near a major airport
  • East or Central US residents preferred.
  • Proven ability in client account management
  • Pharmaceutical industry, relevant healthcare knowledge and or MedComms sales leadership experience highly desirable
  • Experience in business development and account management (5+ years preferred)
  • Demonstrable network of contacts in the pharmaceutical industry/ medical affairs a plus
  • Experience responding to RFPs preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using salesforce.com a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and meeting platforms such as ZOOM, TEAMS etc.
  • Solution driven with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Exceptional customer focus
  • Outstanding listening skills to fully understand client requirements and needs, with the ability to present workable solutions.
