Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the general direction of the Manager or designee, the System Administration Engineer II is a technical specialist role in the System Administration area supporting network operating systems in a multiple platform environment.



Responsibilities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provides third level support to end users
  • Install and maintain data processing hardware and software
  • Involved in the implementation and support of subsystems i.e. backups, e-mail, anti-virus etc.
  • Acknowledge and resolve user service requests
  • Broad application of standard principles, concepts and techniques, plus working knowledge of related fields
  • Resolve a diverse range of complex problems, uses judgment within defined policies
  • Contribute to the development of organizational goals and objectives
  • Frequent cross organization and outside customer contact.
  • Represent the organization on projects
  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of related work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Additional Information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Azure AD and IAM (identity / access management)
  • Experience in zero trust methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft E5/A5/ Security
  • Experience with PowerShell, Logic Apps
  • Experience working with teams implementing cloud concepts and services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
