The Division of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery within the Department of Surgery at Cooper Norcross University Hospital is a growing academic program dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality patient care throughout Southern New Jersey. The Division offers a collaborative, team-based practice environment focused on innovation, quality outcomes, education, and research.

Cooper Norcross University Hospital serves as the clinical campus of Cooper Norcross Medical School of Rowan University and is the leading provider of healthcare services in Southern New Jersey.

The Division currently includes:

• Eight surgical otolaryngologists
• One medical otolaryngologist
• Four Advanced Practice Providers, and
• Four Audiologists, with continued growth anticipated

The Division is actively involved in medical student education and residency training and recently established an Otolaryngology residency program with plans for further expansion.

The General Otolaryngologist provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat the full spectrum of general otolaryngologic conditions while contributing to the academic, educational, and research missions of Cooper Norcross University Health Care and Cooper Norcross Medical School of Rowan University.

Responsibilities include:

• Clinical care
• Resident and medical student education
• Participation in clinical research, and
• The continued growth of the Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery Division

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.

Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery Residency Program.

• Experience in the evaluation and management of a broad range of general otolaryngology conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in medical and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders.
• Commitment to teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
• Interest in clinical and/or basic science research activities.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary academic environment.
• Interest in developing and growing an academic otolaryngology practice.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with general otolaryngologic conditions.
• Participate in the clinical, educational, and academic activities of the Division of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
• Serve as a member of the teaching faculty for Cooper Norcross Medical School of Rowan University.
• Train and supervise residents within the Otolaryngology residency program and other learners as assigned.
• Provide education and mentorship to medical students and rotating residents.
• Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly activity.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, reports, billing documentation, and correspondence related to professional services rendered.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and ensure continuity of care through follow-up treatment and appropriate referrals.
• Comply with all Cooper Norcross University Health Care policies, Medical Staff Bylaws, credentialing requirements, and physician contractual obligations.
