As a Data Product Manager, you have the power to create innovative data products and develop inspiring vision and roadmap to mature these data products. You will help identify customer needs, market opportunities, technology trends to ensure the products built will meet standards and provide value to the customer. As owner of the product, you will be responsible for the lifecycle of a product, overseeing the design and build, proposing enhancements and changes, monitoring the product for anomalies, and retiring the product when the time is right. The product manager will be the liaison between stakeholders and engineering team, driving requirements, managing priorities and planning outcomes.

  • You have a bachelor's degree
  • You can help create comprehensive roadmap with clear milestones and feature prioritization to build the right product
  • You have over 5+ years of experience managing data products which includes requirements gathering, design, test, and launch - preferably within financial industry with knowledge on asset management advisor profile data, retirement data, plans and plan sponsors.
  • You can analyze incoming and existing data sources to help facilitate product requirements and data integration.
  • You can define product vision and deliver customer requirements to development teams.
  • You have knowledge of general data management practices, including but not limited to: Data management standards and approaches, Data quality management (validation, data profiling, etc.,) and Data sourcing practices etc.
  • You have a curious mindset to uncover and find the underlying cause of data issues
  • You can work across business and IT, and can write and articulate business requirements for engineering partners
  • You have hands-on experience with data analysis techniques, pattern identification in structured and semi-structured datasets, and data transformation techniques. Proficiency in data analysis/manipulation tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx etc.
  • You can write/manages the development of technical marketing/launch materials such as code samples, technical documentation, white papers, videos, and other educational materials
  • You have knowledge of CLOUD platforms, such as AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud etc.


Southern California Base Salary Range: $125,329-$200,526

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
