"I can succeed as a Software Engineer at Capital Group." As a Software Engineer III, under limited supervision, you will be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery for business capabilities. You will analyze, build, test, maintain and refine high performance, scalable systems from conception to completion. You will partner with business leaders to influence product strategy and provide leadership through innovation, critical thinking, collaboration, and operational excellence. You will be expected to leverage new and emerging technology patterns, frameworks in architecting and designing solutions. "I am the person Capital Group is looking for." You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. You have at least 5 years of software engineering and analysis experience with expertise in: .Net, SQL, Angular, HTML/CSS, REST API services and AWS You have experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud native technology solutions (preferably on AWS) with expertise in Infrastructure as Code and PaaS, and a proactive approach towards application alternatives, performance, and security as they relate to the design and development process . You possess strong Object Oriented or functional design skills with understanding of common software and integration design patterns. You demonstrate strong collaboration and leadership skills when working with business and other IT partners to implement and design solutions to complex business problems. Your agile mindset and passion for designing product user experiences enable rapid business growth. You are thoughtful in your approach to software engineering practices. You enable a future-ready, high-quality, and responsive code base. You have strong understanding of database concepts and can write and analyze complex queries with multi-table joins and aggregate functions. Southern California Base Salary Range: $111,404-$178,246 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
