Admissions and Recruitment Assistant
The George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School, seeks a part-time Admissions and Recruitment Assistant to support the Admissions Office. LLM.
About the Position:
The Admissions and Recruitment Assistant plays an important role in supporting recruitment and admissions at Scalia Law. This position will perform a variety of tasks. This position is part-time. Scalia Law School's Admissions Office is open from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate would work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to prospective students, applicants, admitted students, and other visitors;
- Assist in planning and prepping admissions and recruitment events;
- Enter data in admissions database and Banner;
- Process payment vouchers and invoices for Associate Dean for Admissions;
- Assist with social media posts and email communications;
- Help manage generic email inboxes for the Admissions Office; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience;
- Demonstrated customer service;
- Detailed oriented and ability to multitask; and
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education including internships, externships, part-time positions, or full-time positions.
