The Client Relationship Senior Manager plays a vital role in the success of Capital Group Private Client Services - leading national client service efforts focused on growing our business and providing an exceptional client experience. In partnership with each Regional Director, this person has responsibility for the regional managers and works closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Enablement, Marketing and Compliance on national issues. The Client Relationship Senior Manager contributes to the development of strategic business plans and drives and participates in a variety of important initiatives.

As a player/coach, the Client Relationship Senior Manager is also solely responsible for one regional office working with the Regional Director to achieve sales and service goals for the region while building an environment that supports PCS' core values. The ideal candidate excels at developing and maintaining strong, collaborative teams, coaching and mentoring associates on development objectives and ensuring accountability, all while executing on national strategies and delivering operational excellence.

In their National Role, the Client Relationship Senior Manager will:
  • Set and execute on the strategic direction for the client service function in partnership with sales and senior leadership
  • Provide oversight and direction of national issues which impact all regions
  • Evaluate business processes and procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement, creating efficiencies and scale across regions and roles
  • Develop and maintain an effective and motivated team of managers who support each other, share best practices, and provide exceptional service across the country
  • Oversee processes that ensure all transitions comply with the highest industry standards, protecting clients and Capital Group
  • Work collaboratively across Capital Group and Private Client Services, bringing high net worth client servicing and operational expertise to all new business initiatives


As the Client Relationship Manager of a Region, the Client Relationship Senior Manager will:
  • Partner with the Regional Director to determine and implement the regional business strategy
  • Manage client service associates, building a strong and motivated team which executes the regional client service strategy and delivers an exceptional client experience
  • Facilitate and support the prospecting and servicing efforts of Advisor Teams
  • Ensure accountability and drive operational and procedural compliance
  • Oversee the office, working with office services

"I am the person Capital Group is looking for."
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field
  • You have 10+ years' experience in Wealth Management, preferably in a Registered Investment Advisory Firm with a focus on High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients
  • You have proven experience in a senior management role
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • You have strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • You have exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • You have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • You have high adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment


Southern California Base Salary Range: $163,779-$278,424

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
