We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Surgical Technologist to join our team!

What You'll Do

The Surgical Technologist will assist with the nursing care of patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards of the department and hospital practice and policies. Assists with Open Heart Surgeries, Vascular procedures, TAVR, and Mitraclip procedures. The successful candidate will be able to:

• Responsible for the preparation, disbursement of surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation - pre, intra, and post-operatively.

• Demonstrates knowledge of principles of asepsis.

• Demonstrates knowledge of the standards of AORN guidelines.

• Assumes responsibility for clinical competence and professional development.

• Participates in the responsible management of all departmental resources.

• Takes call as required by the department
