Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Snowmaker/ Groomer DIVISION: Mountain Operations REPORTS TO: Snowmaking Supervisor LOCATION: On Mountain/ Vehicle Shop CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/ Seasonal/ Hourly POSITION: The Snowmaker works as part of a team to open and maintain skiing terrain with the best possible snow that can be created. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Good teamwork skills Physically able to perform heavy manual tasks Capable of working outdoors in extreme weather conditions Must be 18 or older Have a reliable vehicle preferably with four-wheel drive JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for quality and efficient output of snow, adjusting guns as needed Work up to 12-hour shifts Perform all tasks safely Operate various electrical and pressurized air and water equipment Operate various types of motorized equipment on and off the mountain Equipment inspection and routine maintenance and repairs to snow making equipment Operate snow mobile, four-wheeler, and or snow cats to each snowmaking destination THE BENEFITS AND PERKS At Solitude Mountain Resort, we offer a variety of employee benefits!
