CAMD-ANES The Associate Physician (Board Eligible) reports directly to the clinical Vice Chair and Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and exercises a peer relationship with other faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, nursing personnel, and ancillary personnel in the role of patient care. Department Description Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine is a leading multispecialty practice offering comprehensive training, high-quality patient care, conducting innovative research and educational opportunities. It is one of the largest departments in the School of Medicine with an annual budget of $79+ million and is comprised of 90 faculty, 15 MSP MDs, 32 VCF & associated faculty, 58 Residents, 10 Fellows, 65 Nurse Anesthetists and 35 Administrative Staff.
