KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Corporate Communications organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on internal and external communications activities that contribute to shaping, protecting, and advancing the firm's reputation with a focus on the firm's support organizations such as ethics, compliance, risk management, legal and regulatory, operations, technology, and finance
  • Create compelling content development for multiple channels including the firm's internal and external digital and social media platforms, video, reports/white papers, infographics, and leadership messaging; engage in project management and organization and employee engagement
  • Build productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and serve as a connection point on the team and with key stakeholders
  • Understand both the business strategy and the communications landscape to develop relevant, compelling messages and deliverables that deepen engagement and drive change
  • Work with and understand data and analytics to glean actionable insights, draw conclusions, drive meaningful outcomes, and pivot quickly based on what the data indicates
  • Act as an avid consumer of traditional news and social media, bringing external trends, best practices, and case studies into communications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience working in public affairs or communications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and interact with individuals at all levels across an organization, including senior leadership; possess some knowledge of the business and competitive environment
  • Extremely strong writing and project management skills, including a demonstrated ability for organization; be a proactive team player and self-starter who exercises independent judgment and discretion; proven technical aptitude and critical thinking; knowledge of, and ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of tools, Generative AI, and other measurement tools
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience using internal and external communications channels including social and digital media; public affairs or public relations agency experience a plus
  • Ability to thrive, multi-task, and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
