Job Description:

• Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases.
• Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases. The RedHat Linux administrator should be able to perform and verifying backups, restore files and managing user accounts.
• The administrator should be able to complete a broad range of hands-on technical tasks. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Is comfortable learning from senior level administrators and coordinating with Cyber Security resources to ensure the security posture of the system.
• Has participated in a security control assessment and is familiar with creation and implementation of DISA STIGs, POA&Ms and the ATO process.
• The role requires being on-site and on-call as needed.
• Individuals will also be required to obtain CompTIA Security + Certification within six months of roll-on. Individuals must be eligible to obtain Secret clearance with SSBI

Skills:

• Linux - P2 - Intermediate
• RedHat - P2 - Intermediate
• AWS Cloud Computing - P2 - Intermediate
• Must be in the office 5 days a week, at Kingstowne in Alexandria.
• Interim Secret at a minimum, is required.
• Sec + or equivalent is required, but can be obtained within the first few months.
