Job Overview
Women
afflicted by gender-based violence (GBV) are often in need of sexual and
reproductive health (SRH) services in addition to GBV services. However, these
services are often delivered through different providers, creating a barrier to
access for clients. The IRC team aims to draw from the experiences and
preferences of clients to inform guidance for integrating GBV and SRH services.

The
IRC seeks to hire a user-centered design consultant to work on a 5
month-project in South Sudan to better understand what drives women and girls
'to seek out GBV and SRH services, their experiences of those services, and the
characteristics of an integrated GBV/SRH services that would be most desirable
and relevant to them. The Design Consultant will lead a Design Team comprised
of a GBV/SRH technical specialist, a professional storyteller, and a
muralist/illustrator to organize oral and visual storytelling sessions for
women in 2 sites in South Sudan for their entertainment and to co-create oral

The sessions are intended to build trust, provide entertainment, and allow
women to tell stories in a safe and comfortable manner.

The
Design Consultant will be responsible for designing and running these sessions
with input from community members, IRC colleagues, and the Design Team. They
