DESCRIPTION Cleans and services all SacRT GO coaches, other vehicles and related service areas. Operates buses for servicing and maintenance purposes. Practices safe work processes and performs related work as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Six (6) months of full-time experience performing janitorial and/or industrial cleaning duties or a position responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and/or servicing of a variety of vehicles. Required Licenses and/or Certificates: Possession of a Class B Driver's License permit with Passenger endorsement on the first day of appointment and the ability to obtain a Class B California Driver's License with Passenger endorsement within 90 days of appointment. Satisfactory driving record as determined by the SacRT. Forklift Operator certification or the ability to obtain a Forklift certificate with 90 days of appointment. Note: Although there are certain recreational activities now legal in the state of California, if you’re not able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, you will not be considered for this position.
