The Acquisition Analyst should possess an intermediate level proficiency with acquisitions to support the National Guard Bureau. The Analyst develops requirements, market research, cost estimates, solicitation documents, and other materials to support source selection.

Western Door Federal is seeking an Aquisition Analylst - Construction and Architect-Engineering (remote). The objective of this work is to provide pre- and post- award contracting analyst support to the National Guard Bureau.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Assist in conducting market research and related analysis.
  • Facilitate and assist in development, review, and/or revision of pre- and post-award contract documentation.
  • Collect and prepare market research reports to identify required sources, commercial items, non-developmental items (NDI), small businesses, intragovernmental acquisition sources.
  • Create, review, and edit acquisition documents including but not limited to Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Source Selection Plans (SSP), etc.
  • Creating Sources Sought Notices, requests for information, special announcements.
  • Make Set-Aside determinations and recommendations for Contracting Vehicles for upcoming solicitations.
  • Maintain knowledgeable/proficiency in all statutes, regulations, and policies related to A&E and Construction requirements


Basic Qualifications:



  • Education minimum:Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience minimum:Fiveyears of government acquisition or related experience.
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of all areas of the acquisition life cycle.
  • Working experience within Procurement Defense Desktop/Standard Procurement System (PD2/SPS) or implemented Contract Writing Systems.
  • Deep understanding of Part 36 (Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts) of the FAR

  • Knowledgeable and proficient in the following:


    • Paperless Contracting File System
    • SAM
    • Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and modules within


  • Former experience as government contracting specialist or contracting officer
