Summary

The School of Nursing at Saint Xavier University is seeking experienced registered nurses with at least a master's degree in nursing to work as clinical adjunct faculty for one of the oldest and most respected baccalaureate programs in the Chicagoland area. This program prepares students for the 21st century health care workplace by teaching them to be strong clinicians with a focus on health and wellness across diverse populations while acquiring a quality education from a top ranked program.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Will work in collaboration with SXU SON full-time faculty to provide direct instruction to a small group of students in a variety of healthcare settings. Responsibilities include making clinical assignments for students, grading clinical assignments, mid-term and end of term evaluations.


Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing and interest in or previous clinical teaching experience.
-Unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Enthusiasm toward serving a diverse student population
