Job Description Summary

WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY'S Department of Communication is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor or Assistant Professor of Practice to serve as the Director of Public Speaking to begin in Fall 2024. The position has a two-year initial term which is renewable and subject to subsequent promotion in rank. Candidates are expected to teach classes at the undergraduate level in public speaking, as well as courses in the candidate's content area of expertise (6 courses per academic year). Candidates are also expected to direct graduate teaching assistants and direct the department's speaking center.
