Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Pediatric/Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers Full Time 75569BR Job Summary The Nurse Practitioner will act as an independent member of the team, taking responsibility for the safe delivery of care for inpatient newborns. This team member will meet productivity expectations as set forth by the Division Chief, performing any duties related to patient care activities that are appropriate and clearly delineated. To see the salary range for this position (we recommend that you make a note of the job code and use that to look up): Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: Department Description Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) was founded in 1964 and pioneered fetal surgery and is a 58-bed unit that provides care for and has the expertise to treat the smallest, sickest and most fragile babies needing surgery for heart, lung, gastrointestinal and other life-threatening conditions. Our neonatal heart program is one of the largest in the country, treating almost 200 newborns with heart disease each year. The ICN is a Regional Intensive Care Nursery and works with a network of 24 hospitals in Northern California to provide neonatology care. Required Qualifications NP 1
