Service Line Director - Ambulatory and Primary Care

JOB SUMMARY The Director, Service Lines is charged with improving the system-wide integration and direction of service line programs as we transform from a volume to value clinical delivery model. This position will partner with physician and administrative leaders to drive successful change that supports service line programs delivering on the value equation of quality, service and cost efficiency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree Field of Study: Business Field of Study: Healthcare Administration Field of Study: Healthcare related fields Field of Study: Engineering Years of experience: 7 plus years SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Hospital / service line operations, strategic planning, process improvement / LEAN operations, business development project management, strong organizational skills, strong understanding of stakeholder engagement skills. DESIRED ATTRIBUTES Proven track record in management and direction of primary and secondary healthcare services, effective physician relationship building, and demonstrated ability to interface in a matrix relationship with leaders in other business units. Networking, strong communication and interpersonal skills, performance measures and outcomes driven; excellent rapport-building and communication skills; collegiality; problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; successful track record of leadership and managementThe following competencies are required for this position: Relationship Management, Curiosity, Active Listening, Embracing Diversity, Approachability, Influencing, Problem Solving, and Driving Results. May Direct collection, analysis, and interpretation of statistics significant to program planning. Engages in studies and investigations related to improving clinical care and, with assistance of interdisciplinary teams, plans, initiates, and evaluates changes in clinical processes. . Promotes working relationships with other interdependent OhioHealth departments. . Participates in strategic planning. . Works collaboratively with Service Line leadership team to achieve organization goals. 10% Leadership:. Provides input into executive level planning and decisions. Facilitates environment of servant leadership and customer service. Plans and directs project management activities; working with other departments within Service Line or the other OhioHealth departments. Actively participates in Service Line activities. Develops and maintains professional relationships. . Actively works with associates to develop goals and strategies for professional development 15%: Financials:. The Service Line Advisor will have a strong understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and business plan development, facilitating effective fiscal direction and management of pertinent resources.
