Prepweigher - Full Time, 3rd Shift

Seeking a motivated Prepweigher to join our team. Responsible for weighing ingredients and packages and supporting various production tasks.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Shift/Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM; Monday - Friday.
  • Starting hourly pay of $17.61 plus shift differential.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Uses hand scales appropriately to ensure correct amounts of ingredients are placed in packages.
  • Manually hand weighs the specific number of packages per minute.
  • Monitor ingredients for appearance, odors, and foreign material to ensure quality standards are being maintained.
  • Communicates with supply person so that there is always an adequate supply of ingredients.
  • Air-dry and wipe down line and other pieces of equipment before shift begins or after mid-shift washdowns.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with fellow team members including timely communication of all operational and/or safety issues.
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, or GED, preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Reading, math, computer, and leadership skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude including the ability to use hand tools and lubricate equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out and Confined Space principles.
